Hannover sign Norwegian forward

German Bundesliga club Hannover 96 have completed the signing of Norwegian forward Mohammed Abdellaoue from Valerenga. The 24 year old has signed a four year contract with Hannover and becomes the third Scandinavian player in the club’s ranks after Leon Andreasen and Mikael Forssell.

Abdellaoue, who is of Moroccan descent, started his club career with Skeid. He spent four years with the club before joining Valerenga in 2007.

Abdellaoue scored 30 goals in 67 games for Valerenga- at an average of nearly one goal in every two fixtures.

Abdellaoue could make his league debut for Hannover on the opening day of the 10/11 Bundesliga season when they take on Eintracht Frankfurt.
