Haris Seferovic agrees Benfica switch

Portuguese daily newspaper A Bola has learned that Eintracht Frankfurt striker Haris Seferovic has reached an agreement with Benfica.

The Switzerland international will be out of contract at the end of the season and it is now clear he will be leaving his current employers.

The details of his agreement with Benfica have yet to be disclosed, but the 25-year-old is expected to pen a long-term deal at Estadio da Luz.

Seferovic has failed to impress at Eintracht Frankfurt having joined from Real Sociedad three years ago, scoring mere 16 goals in 86 Bundesliga outings.

Nevertheless, it seems that Benfica coaching staff believes he can be a good addition to the Eagles squad and his arrival is expected to compensate for the imminent departure of Mexican forward Raul Jimenez.
