England kick off their bid for World Cup glory with a Group G clash against Tunisia in Volgograd.

For Gareth Southgate’s England side, with so many of the pre-tournament favorites failing to impress, The Three Lions will have the opportunity to make an early statement on Monday night. With an air of confidence around a revitalized squad, England will be looking for captain Harry Kane to carry on his own impressive run of form. After scoring 30 Premier League goals for Tottenham last season, the 24-year-old has now scored in his last five consecutive games when wearing the armband.

As for Nabil Maâloul Tunisia side, the Reds will be looking to spoil the party on Monday night and have also put in some impressive performances during the build-up to the finals. While they are coming off the back of a 1-0 loss to 2010 World Cup winners Spain, Tunisia have taken a draw off of Euro 2016 champions Portugal and are certainly not a team that will be walked over. However, although their defeat to Spain was their first loss in over a year, Maâloul’s side have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last three outings and will struggle to keep Kane and co quite for 90 minuets.
