Hart linked with West Ham loan

West Ham United could be set to sign Joe Hart on loan from Manchester City, according to Sky Sports.

The England international goalkeeper has been strongly linked with a transfer away from the Etihad Stadium this summer having spent all of last season with Serie A side Torino but could be set for another loan spell in a permanent deal can’t be agreed.

His chances of working his way into Pep Guardiola’s thoughts suffered a major blow after Ederson was signed from Benfica last week, with the Brazilian set to battle with Claudio Bravo for the number one jersey.

Hart has played three hundred and forty-eight times for City since signing from Shrewsbury Town in 2006, helping them to title success in the Premier League on two occasions while he has also won two League Cups and the FA Cup.

He won his seventy-first cap for England as they drew with Scotland on Saturday but he will watch from the bench on Tuesday as the Gareth Southgate’s side take on France in a friendly.
