Hazard pens new Chelsea deal

Eden Hazard has signed a new five-and-a-half year mega deal with Chelsea, according to the Mail Online.

The Belgium international has set the Premier League alight with his performances over the past eighteen months, and has been rewarded by the club who he moved to from Lille in 2012.

He was named the 2013/14 PFA Young Player of the Year, and has continued his fine form into the season with thirteen goals in all competitions.

During his time at Stamford Bridge, the 24 year old has racked up almost a hundred and fifty appearances, while he was part of the squad the won the Europa League in 2013.

Internationally he has been capped fifty-three times, scoring six goals, with five of those appearances coming at last summer’s World Cup finals in Brazil.

Jose Mourinho’s side maintained their seven point lead at the top of the Premier League with a late victory over Everton yesterday evening, and are now priced at 1/8 to win the title.
