Hazard ready to leave Lille; Samuel Eto’o drops PSG hint

Hazard ready to leave Lille

Lille winger Eden Hazard has revealed that he is ready to leave France at the end of the season.

The highly rated youngster is courted by a number of big European sides and everything suggests that he will be leaving Lille next summer.

Real Madrid, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are just some of the club showing interest in the Belgian wonderkid, and the player admits he is tempted by the prospect of joining the Saints.

“Paris is a no go for now,” Hazard told L’equipe. “Paris is magical, as they say. But, for the time being to go there, no.”

“In France, I don’t want to reinforce Lille’s rival club. It would be inconsistent. People would not understand.”

The player, however, believes he is ready to make a step up in his career.

“I am ready to go the next level in a big club. I stayed in Lille this season because I still had things to prove.

”But now I am ready. I feel ready to continue my career abroad.”

Samuel Eto’o drops PSG hint

Anzhi striker Samuel Eto’o has failed to rule out a possibility of joining Paris Saint-Germain on loan in January.

The Cameroonian made a shock switch to Anzhi in the summer, but with the Russian Premier League set for the winter break, he is exploring other options.

Paris Saint-Germain have shown interest in signing the forward on loan in January, and Eto’o is coy on the transfer talk.

“Right now, it is not possible,” Eto’o told Canal Plus. “We’ll see if the opportunity arises.”

The Cameroon international has a very good relationship with PSG sporting director Leonardo, who is keen on signing the former Inter star in January.

Leonardo recently met with Eto’o, but the player says no transfer was discussed.

“We have kept a very good relationship. But, we did not address this issue. Before reaching an agreement, there are a lot of things (to be sorted).”

Eto’o has enjoyed a good start to his career in Russia, scoring five goals in eight league games.

Juventus keen on Serie A star duo

Juventus are showing interest in Serie A stars Gaston Ramirez and Josip Ilicic, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Old Lady has enjoyed a great start to the season following heavy summer spending and they are currently leading the title race in Serie A.

Boss Antonio Conte is eager to keep his side on the right track and he wants to sign a couple of reinforcements in January.

The Bianconeri are actively looking for Milos Krasic’s replacement, and have reportedly set their sights on Gaston Ramirez and Josip Ilicic.

The 20-year-old Uruguayan has four more years left on his contract, but recent reports suggest that Bologna plan to cash in on him as early as January.

Josip Ilicic, on the other hand, has been unable to hold on to a regular starting place and he could decide to leave Palermo if the situation doesn’t improve.

With both players tied to long-term deals at their respective clubs, Juventus chiefs would have to delve deep into their pockets in order to sign one of the two players.
