Hearts 13/10 to beat Motherwell in Saturdays Scottish Premiership matchup

Competition: Scottish Premiership

Market: Hearts win

Odds: 13/10 @ Bet 365

Currently enjoying a stellar start to the new season, Craig Levin’s Hearts side will be hoping to make it five wins on the bounce when they face off against Motherwell at Fir Park on Saturday.

Starting with the hosts, while Motherwell are coming off the back of a 3-1 win against Dundee prior to the international break and are now on a three-match unbeaten run, Steve Robinson’s side are still stuck flirting with the relegation zone. Along with shipping three against Rangers in their last appearance at Fir Park, Motherwell also lost 1-0 against Hamilton and have now managed to record just one clean sheet in their last five home matches. Shipping eight in their opening four matches, they also hold the second worst defensive record in the division.

Well, things really couldn’t be going any better Tynecastle entering the new season. Winning all four of their matchups this season, Hearts are the only team in Scotland to pick up maximum points. Remarkably, including their exploits in the League Cup, Hearts have now won their last nine matches on the bounce. One man to watch for Hearts is Norwich loanee, Steven Naismith. He is now the top scorer in Scotland and also scored for his nation against Albania on Monday night. The visitors will also be boosted by the news that boss Craig Levin will be in the dugout on Saturday. Missing the end of August due to a health scare, the return of the former Scotland manager will offer additional motivation.
