Aston Villa’s most recent signing Nicklas Helenius has praised his new team-mate Jores Okore as both begin their time at Villa Park.
Denmark international Okore, 20, joined the Premier League side from Nordsjaelland and was shortly followed by compatriot Helenius, who departed Aalborg after three years.
Helenius, who scored 16 goals for the Danish team in the league last season, has insisted that Okore has a lot to offer.
“He is very strong – I can’t beat him all the time in matches!” He told the club’s official website.
“He is fast and very strong and he is very good with the ball. He just shows he has a lot of confidence every time.
“He is a good man for this club and I think he will grab his chance. He is a very good player.”
Helenius became the club’s fourth signing of the off-season and has since been followed in by Spainard Antonio Luna.
He also stated that he knows Okore well, with the pair having battled in the Danish Superliga, and he believes that their relationship will be positive for Aston Villa.
“We know each other and we know what we are good at and (what) we are not so good at so we can help each other,” he added.
