Higuain’s future to be resolved soon

Today (Monday) could be the day when the future of Juventus’ Gonzalo Higuain is decided, claims respected Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

Higuain is set to begin training with Cristiano Ronaldo and the rest of the squad today as a number of players involved in this year’s World Cup return from holiday. Along with Gonzalo, his brother and agent Nicolas Higuain has also flown in to discuss the terms of the striker’s impending exit. The brothers are finally convinced that there will be no place for Gonzalo in the new forward line of the Old Lady.

There is interest from Borussia Dortmund for the Argentine, but his move to Signal Iduna Park doesn’t seem very likely at the moment. Chelsea have been linked as well, but it is AC Milan who seem to be the most serious among the contenders. Any potential deal would naturally depend on the conditions set by Juventus, and those conditions will be the focal point of the talks Nicolas Higuain is to have with the Turin club.
