It has been reported from Spanish sources that Alexander Hleb has agreed personal terms with FC Barcelona.
Even though Hleb is under contract to Arsenal it is believed that both clubs have agreed a deal to be worth approximately €20 million.
Currently there is a clean – out at Barcelona as they attempt to rebuild their squad for the 2008/9 season.

Hleb never scored enough goals. He had flashes of brilliance, but I don’t believe that the top teams in the Premiership and Europe feared him in the same way they did Overmars, Pires or even Edu, all of whom popped up with 8+ goals per season. Hleb never delivered enough. Good bye and good luck, but I’m not shedding any tears.
