Hoffenheim sign Peruvian starlet

Hoffenheim have announced on their official website that they have completed the signing of Tavriya Simferopol defender Luis Advincula.

Advincula, 22, has signed a contract until June 2016 with the Bundesliga side and has been allocated the number 25 jersey.

The right-sided defender, who can also play further up the pitch, has been signed to try and help Hoffenheim avoid relegation to the second division.

Hoffenheim currently sit in the Bundesliga relegation zone after losing last six league fixtures.

Despite his fragile age, Luis Advincula boasts an impressive experience, having made 129 appearances in Peru’s top flight, while earning 22 national team caps.

The talented defender has largely impressed playing for Sporting Cristal over the last three seasons, with excellent showings earning him a switch to Ukranian side Tavriya Simferopol.

Advincula failed to make a single appearance for the Ukranian club and was loaned back to Sporting Cristal after Tavriya could not register the player for the domestic championship.
