Hooper makes Sheffield Wednesday switch

Sheffield Wednesday have completed the loan signing of Norwich City striker Gary Hooper, according to the Daily Mail.

The twenty-seven year old has joined the Yorkshire side on a deal that will run until January 17th and will earn £35,000 per week.

Hooper moved to Norwich in the summer of 2013 and has since played for them seventy times in all competitions, scoring twenty times including twelve in their 2013/14 promotion winning campaign.

However he has made just two appearances so far this campaign – both of which coming as a substitute.

Prior to his move to Carrow Road, Hooper had three seasons in Scotland with Celtic while he has also played for Grays Athletic, Southend United and Scunthorpe United as well as having loan spells with Leyton Orient and Hereford United.

Hooper could make his Owls debut as they host Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon, and the home win is priced at 11/10.
