Gerrard is one of the world’s best!!! And just so you know (if you dont already), I am a MUFC Fan and I’m saying that (and it doesnt hurt either).

I am quite shocked at the behavior of the Liverpool fans. I have always expected nothing but taunts and poison when they think of Man United, but
THIS kind of behavior- and to their own best player- is ridiculous.

I have looked upon Liverpool very highly ever since I first saw them play, and my respect for them increased a lot after their great run last season. I have even tried to imitate the fans’ devotion for their club by being very supportive of Manchester United. . . and it’s working, of course.
I will encourage all Liverpool fans who are criticizing your captain to stop being like that and wish him well in recovering quickly from his injury, and once he does, that he shows he is back with a few good goals. . . as long as none of them are against Manchester United .

Gerrard is far from ‘socks’ Bob…if you had a point, I might listen, but realistically, in no way does the word ‘suck’ ever even affiliate itself with Gerrard – he is world class – his team know this, Liverpool fans know this and his opponents ALL know this…

I am praying that Steven Gerrard leaves Anfield. He should go to Madrid or Barca and try his luck for a league title. Liverpool does not deserve him and the criticism goes to proove this. Instead of blaming Benitez, they’ve set their foul mouth on the one gem in the team. They’ve lost Alonso. They’ll lose more…

Any one who blames Gerrard for the loss of Liverpool is then knew in the club of Liverpool fan supporter because they don’t know exactly what Gerrard has done for Liverpool.

Any fan that criticizes Gerrard now is simply irresponsible and wouldn’t do a quarter of what Gerrard had done for the team. I’m a Liverpool fan and I know what he has contributed to the team even in this trying time.
