Howe pondering winter moves

Sky Sports understands that Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is already mulling over which players to make a move for when the transfer window reopens in January.

The thirty-seven year old recently penned a new contract with the Cherries, who he guided to the Premier League for the first time in their history last season.

The club have lost a number of their first team squad through injury in recent weeks with summer signings Tyrone Mings and Max Gradel, top scorer Callum Wilson and captain Tommy Elphick all set for extended spells on the side-lines.

Championship hotshots Charlie Austin and Jordan Rhodes are two of the names linked with a winter move to the south coast club though Howe as declined to comment on any individual players.

Bournemouth travel to league leaders Manchester City on Saturday afternoon and can be backed at a price of 9/1 to take all three points.
