Huddersfield Town host Nottingham Forest in the Championship tonight, with the Terriers favourites to come out on top at the John Smith Stadium. Currently 13th in the table after eight games, victory for the home side would see them level on points with sides in the playoffs, while defeat risks sides below them in the table closing the gap.

Three points ahead of the drop zone, Town desperately need a result to ensure they aren’t dragged into a dogfight in the lower reaches of the table. Opponents Nottingham Forest won’t be the easiest of sides to face, however, with the Midlands outfit just one place above Huddersfield ahead of this week’s Championship clash, while having won two of their last three games.

The hosts are also in good form of late, however, picking up six points from their last two league games, and Betfair are giving odds of 6/4 for Huddersfield to pick up all three points against Forest as a result. With the visitors having struggled for a lack of goals on the road, the Terriers are hoping to take advantage.
