Huesca ‘agree deal’ for Jese

SD Huesca have agreed a deal to sign Jese Rodriguez from Paris Saint-Germain on loan, according to Spanish TV station Aragon TV.

Having played 94 games for Real Madrid’s first team, Jese moved to PSG in 2016 but spent only half a season there. After scoring two goals in 14 appearances, he spent the second half of the campaign on loan at Las Palmas. Last season he played in the Premier League with Stoke City, also on loan, making 13 appearances and scoring a single goal in a campaign riddled with various personal issues including a premature birth of his son.

Looking to get his career back on track, the forward is now close to joining the newly promoted side Huesca, who have started the first top-division season in their history with a 1-2 win away against Eibar. It seems a second chance is on the cards for the versatile attacker, who is capable of playing on both sides of the pitch as well as through the middle.
