Manchester City manager Mark Hughes believes Manchester United will be able to retain their Premier League title this season.
City face United in the Manchester derby at Old Trafford today.
“It’s not realistic to think they will throw the title away, absolutely not,†Hughes told the Sunday People.
“They’re in a situation where their focus will be on retaining the title, now that their place in the Champions League Final is secured.
“Having gone through that experience of ticking each game off, every game has as great a significance as the next one.
“So it’s a challenge for us to go there at this stage of the season and get a positive result – and that is what we must focus on.â€Â
