Hulk´s sister returns after disappearance

The sister of Zenit St Petersburg striker Hulk has returned home safely after disappearing on Monday.

Angelica Aparecida Vieira was reportedly kidnapped in the Brazilian city of Campina Grande, but police have said that the 22-year-old has returned to her family home.

Police did not confirm that Vieira had been kidnapped as initially reported by Brazilian media and said an investigation was ongoing to determine the cause of her disappearance.

Hulk, currently sidelined through injury, moved to Zenit in the close season after a reported transfer of 60 million euros.

The former Porto star’s family did not make any statements during Vieira’s absence.
