Hull and Blackpool closing in on Ince agreement

Hull City are close to agreeing a fee with Blackpool for winger Tom Ince, according to Sky Sports.

The 22 year old left the Championship club in the summer when his contract expired, though his former employees are entitled to compensation due to his age.

Talks between the clubs have been ongoing since July, with both parties keen to come to an agreement for the England U21 international without the matter having to go to a tribunal.

Ince, who spent the final months of last season on loan at Crystal Palace, has made three league appearances for the Tigers so far, while he also played in yesterday evening’s 3-2 defeat to West Bromwich Albion in the third round of the Capital One Cup.

Steve Bruce’s men welcome Premier League champions Manchester City to the KC Stadium on Saturday afternoon, and can be backed at 5/1 to take all three points.
