Competition: Championship
Market: Hull and Derby to draw
Odds: 13/5 @ Bet 365

Hull City host Derby County tonight at the KC Stadium for the second leg of their Championship playoff semi-final. Having won 3-0 away to the Rams in the first leg at the iPro Stadium, Steve Bruce’s men will fancy Hull to get the job done this evening to reach the playoff final at Wembley.

With City boasting such a big aggregate advantage over County ahead of tonight’s clash at the KC, a two-goal away win still wouldn’t be enough to send Derby through. Hull are firmly in the driving seat, but they won’t take the tie for granted. Derby have impressed on home soil, and can certainly come out on top. But getting enough goals will be a challenge.

Steve Bruce side are normally resilient at the back, but they have a poor head-to-head record against Derby this season, having lost twice to the Rams in the Championship. Hull are likely to try and keep their opponents at bay for as long as possible to see them game out.

It could well backfire, but the manner of their win in the first leg sees Bet 365 giving odds of 13/5 for Hull and Derby to play out a stalemate at the KC Stadium tonight, which would see City into the playoff final at Wembley.
