Hull City have signed Ireland midfielder Kevin Kilbane on a free transfer from fellow Premier League side Wigan Athletic. Kilbane has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract, Hull said on their website.
The midfielder signed for an undiscoled fee: “Hull was definitely an attractive move. I anted to stay in the Premier League because you want to play as many games in the top flight as you can. Hopefully we can do wel in the remaining months of this season and firmly establish ourselves in the Premier League”.
“As a player, it’s alla about getti yourself right for a Saturday afternoon andI want to be playing for the rest of the season”, he added.
In the meanwhile West Ham United’s Portuguese forward Luis Boa Morte has declined to move from Upton Park to Hull City today.
