Premier League newboys Hull signed Wigan striker Marlon King on a season-long loan on Thursday.
King, 28, had been discussing a move to the KC Stadium for several weeks and the move was finally completed after the Jamaica international passed a medical.
The former Watford forward is manager Phil Brown's eighth signing since the end of last season and could make his debut in Saturday's Premier League opener against Fulham.
