Huntelaar linked with Premier League switch

Schalke striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has hinted that he could be set for a move to the Premier League, according to the Express.

The Dutch international scored as his side took a point from their Champions League opener against Chelsea yesterday evening, leading to him once again be linked with a move to the English top flight.

During the World Cup, both Arsenal and Liverpool were mentioned as potential destinations for the 31 year old, while Tottenham Hotspur are also thought to be in for him.

Huntelaar moved to Schalke from Milan in the summer of 2010, and has since one hundred and forty-two appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring ninety-three goals.

He also spent a season in La Liga with Real Madrid prior to his move to Italy, having begun his career in the Netherlands, turning out for PSV Eindhoven, De Graafschap, AGOVV Apeldoorn, SC Heerenveen and Ajax.
