Sweden striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has reaffirmed his commitment to the national team for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
The Swedes became the second team to be knocked out of Euro 2012 after being beaten 3-2 by England in Kiev, despite leading 2-1.
Having accumulated no points from their first two games in Group D, Sweden can no longer qualify.
Ibrahimovic, who is their captain, has nevertheless reiterated his desire to continue playing for his country for at least the next two years.
“Of course, we go on. (But first), we have a match against France. We need to finish this tournament off on a good note,” the AC Milan striker told TV4.
“Then we have a vacation, and then, after that we start from scratch again.
“Of course you can’t have any positive feelings left in your body now but we have to look back at our performance at a later stage and see where we went wrong.
“And then we have to work even harder to get things right for the next time.”
