Paris Saint-Germain forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic says he is happy to be the provider if he cannot get on the scoresheet himself.

The Swedish star provided four assists in Tuesday’s 4-0 win over Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League.

“I try to help my team always, my colleagues, if I cannot score I try to help them score,” he said.

“Luckily they were scoring and that is why it became four assists. It’s important that we win the game.

“I feel good, we won the game, after the first half which was so-so, the second half was much better.”

Ibrahimovic said he was not to blame for a collision with Dinamo goalkeeper Ivan Kelara at the Parc des Princes.

“All I can say is it was not my purpose to hit the goalkeeper,” he added.

“I came in at very high speed and I was watching the ball, and then when I saw the goalkeeper it was too late.

“Sometimes these things can happen, let’s hope they understand football.”

PSG, second in Group A and five points clear of Dynamo Kiev, are poised to qualify for the knockout phase of the competition with two games remaining.
