Ibrahimovic hints at Milan return

Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that he would like to return to AC Milan.

The Swedish striker joined the French giants in a €21 million deal from Milan in the summer, together with defender Thiago Silva.

Ibrahimovic has enjoyed a brilliant start to his career in France, scoring 9 goals in 7 Ligue 1 games, helping the team return to the right track following the slow start to the season.

However, the 31-year-old admits that he would like to return to San Siro at one point in the future.

“I love Milan. I liked it and I felt at home there,” Ibrahimovic said at a press conference in Solna. “This is a club where I could imagine going back if I had to choose.

“Often, you do not go back to where you were, but Milan, I can imagine. This is a fantastic club.

“I want them to succeed in all competitions. I hope that the club will be better. But if they need help, they know where I am.”

Ibrahimovic is currently with Sweden national team, preparing for the 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Faroe Islands and Germany.

Since making his debut for the national team back in 2001, the highly rated striker has won 82 Sweden caps, scoring 33 goals in the process.
