As The Guardian reporte, Gareth Southgate has reiterated that he will not resign as Middlesbrough’s manager. “There’s no chance of me walking out on this challenge,” said the former England defender whose side have gone 13 Premier League games without a win and are second bottom of the table.
“Now is a time for strong leadership and I’m not shirking that responsibility. Taking responsibility is something I’ve always done as a captain and a manager. I’ve done it all through my career. I don’t have an issue with it, it’s what I’m paid to do”, Southgate concluded.
