Leicester City have made an official approach for MK Dons manager Paul Ince according to BBC Sport. Leicester confirmed their bid after MK Dons revealed that the ‘Foxes’ had made an official approach for the ex-Manchester United star.
The statement on the MK Dons’ official website read:“The club can confirm that Leicester City have made an official approach to speak to Paul Ince. As has been well documented, this is not the first time we have had to deal with interest in his services.”
However, the Daily Mirror claims that Ince will turn down the job at the Walkers Stadium and instead look to fill the vacancy at Blackburn.
Ince, 40, is said to be on a two-man shortlist along with ex-Newcastle legend Alan Shearer to succeed former boss Mark Hughes at Ewood Park. And with Ince having the advantage of managerial experience, it seems more likely that Paul Ince will be confirmed Blackburn manager in the next week.
