Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta is confident his side can progress past Manchester United and reach the Champions League final – despite their indifferent recent form.

Barca´s goalless stalemate with local rivals Espanyol on Saturday was the team´s third successive league draw, while in their last 13 competitive matches Frank Rijkaard´s men have recorded only four victories.

However, Iniesta remains in buoyant mood ahead of Wednesday´s Champions League semi-final first leg against United at the Nou Camp, saying: “It´s very important for us to get to the final, and we have 180 minutes ahead of us to do so. We can do it, but we need to change our mindset for the two legs, and we can´t afford to give anything away.”
