Inter and Monaco vying for Patrik Schick

Tuttosport is reporting that Inter Milan and Monaco are locked in the battle for Sampdoria hotshot Patrik Schick.

The Czech Republic international was supposed to join Juventus this summer, but the deal fell through as the striker failed a medical due to a cardiac problem.

Schick will now undergo extensive medical tests to ensure the issue is no longer present and if all goes well he will receive a green light to continue his career.

Inter Milan and Monaco are closely monitoring the situation as they are keen on the 21-year-old footballer, who enjoyed an excellent debut campaign in Italian Serie A.

Schick scored 11 goals in mere 14 starts for Sampdoria in the league, while at the same time making three appearances for Czech Republic in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
