A report from Talk Sport suggests that Inter Milan are set to join the race to sign Lucas Moura from Sao Paulo and that they could pip Manchester United to the post.
Lucas has been heavily linked with the English Premier League side over the last few months but talks have recently stalled between the two clubs.
It will take around £20 million to secure the Brazilian’s services and the Serie A side are apparently in advanced talks with his representatives.
Inter are looking to add plenty of young talent to their squad this season after allowing a few of their senior players to leave the San Siro.
They are looking to go much better than their sixth place finish in the Italian top flight last campaign.
However, Sir Alex Ferguson is also a massive admirer of the Sau Paulo man and it is being reported that he still has plenty of money left in his transfer budget for the summer.
This could now spark a bidding war between these two giants of European football and the club with the biggest wallet may be the ones who sign Lucas.
