Inter Milan are weighing up summer move for Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, La Gazzetta dello Sport has revealed.
The Nerazzurri plan to sign a new holding midfielder in the summer to form the midfield trio with Mateo Kovacic and Fredy Guarin.
Sevilla midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia and FC Porto’s Fernando are some of the names on their hit-list, but Morgan Schneiderlin is the latest high-profile player to be linked with a move to Giuseppe Meazza.
The Frenchman has largely impressed in holding midfield role for Southampton this season and has in turn caught the eye of England’s top clubs.
He has signed a new deal until June 2017 in January, but it is believed Southampton would not be able to resist a big money offer in the summer.
Schneiderlin has won both Fans’ and Players’ Player of the Season awards at his club after scoring 5 goals in 35 Premier League games this season.
