Inter keen on Nelson Semedo

Serie A outfit Inter Milan are hot on the trail of Benfica starlet Nelson Semedo, Il Corriere dello Sport can reveal.

In spite of the excellent start to the season, the Nerazzurri not only dropped out of the title chase, but are set to miss out on Champions League qualification as well, meaning another squad overhaul is on the cards.

Sporting director Piero Ausilio is currently looking at a number of potential targets, with Benfica full-back Nelson Semedo now in the focus.

Inter Milan have quite a few options on the right flank, but does not appear satisfied with any of those, and that is why they are almost certain to recruit a right-sided defender in the summer.

Nelson Semedo is high on their wish list and it is believed that the Nerazzurri scouts will be in Munich on 5 April to watch the youngster in action against Bayern.

Inter Milan sit five points behind Champions League positions and they are 15/2 chance to achieve a top 3 finish.
