Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport has learned that Inter Milan are preparing a January bid for FC Porto attacker Juan Manuel Iturbe.

The Nerazzuri have been impressed by the youngster’s recent performances and they are set to make their interest concrete in January.

According to Tuttosport, Inter are willing to offer around €15 million for the Argentina Under-20 international.

Juan Manuel Iturbe joined Porto from Quilmes in the summer of 2011, but was then loaned to River Plate after struggling for playing time at Estadio do Dragao.

The 20-year-old is currently on loan at Hellas Verona, where he has scored 2 goals in first 4 Serie A games for the Gialloblu.

Inter officials will have a perfect opportunity to see the player in action when the two sides square off at Giuseppe Meazza on Saturday evening.

Liverpool eyeing Guidetti

Liverpool are keeping close tabs on Manchester City striker John Guidetti, according to English daily Metro.

The Reds are looking to sign cover for star strikers Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge, and everything suggests they will make a move on the Swedish footballer in January.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is a keen admirer of the 21-year-old and is hoping to lure him to Anfield this winter.

John Guidetti has finally resumed full training after missing last 18 months through a number of injuries.

Just last summer he was one of the most sought-after players in Europe, having scored 20 goals in 23 Eredivisie appearances while on loan spell at Feyenoord.

Manchester City travel to Stamford Bridge on Sunday looking to continue the rich vein of form, with away win paying 11/5.

Anyukov on Rubin radar

Rubin Kazan are being linked with a move for Zenit defender Alexander Anyukov, reports Izvestia.

The long-serving defender has lost his place in the starting line-up following the arrival of Igor Smolnikov and he could decide to leave the Russian giants in search of first team football.

With the 2014 World Cup on the horizon, the 31-year-old believes the lack of regular playing time could hurt his chances of making Russia World Cup squad.

According to Izvestia, Rubin Kazan are ready to offer the full-back an escape route from Stadium Petrovskij.

The same source has suggested that the Tatarstan club are preparing a €4 million bid for the player’s services.

Alexander Anyukov has spent last eight years at Zenit having joined from Krylya Sovetov, making 204 league appearances and scoring 11 goals.
