Various reports in Italy are suggesting that Inter Milan and AS Roma have agreed a summer transfer for the Belgian international Radja Nainggolan.

Tuttosport and Telelombardia are both reporting that the 30-year-old midfielder will officially become the new Inter Milan player on 1 July 2018 after the two sides agreed on a deal that would involve a €29 million fee and a youth team prospect Nicolo Zaniolo.

Zaniolo is a talented playmaker who’s been a star of Giallorossi’s Scudetto-winning Primavera setup.

Nainggolan will thus reunite with former AS Roma coach Luciano Spalletti who took Inter to a fourth-place finish and will use the Belgian international to have a run at the Champions League glory next year.

Nainggolan is said to have agreed on a salary in excess of €4.5 million per year.

The Belgium international has been a surprise omission from the Red Devils’ World Cup squad after which he decided to put an end to his international career.

Belgium are 11/1 outside favorites to win the showpiece tournament in Russia which kicks off this week.
