Inter Milan eyeing Matija Nastasic

Inter Milan defender Jeison Murillo is set for a return to Spain with Valencia keen to land the Colombian defender, Nerazzurri have set their sights on a number of potential defensive reinforcements.

Uruguay Under-20 international Augustin Rogel has been mentioned as one of the key targets for the Italian outfit but the most recent reports coming from the likes of Tuttosport claim that fallen Serie A giants are looking for a player of greater international experience.

Serbia centre-back Matija Nastasic seems to be fitting the bill and aforementioned media outlet claim that former Fiorentina defender has now emerged as the top candidate to join Inter this summer.

The 24-year-old Matija Nastasic made 22 Bundesliga appearances for Schalke last season.

Once touted as one of the biggest defensive talents in Europe, Matija Nastasic left Partizan in 2011 without a single match played for the first team. After two years at Fiorentina, he moved to Manchester City before getting transferred to Schalke at the beginning of the 2014/15 season.
