Italian giants Inter Milan are considering a January bid for Benfica goalkeeper Ederson Moraes, La Gazzetta dello Sport can reveal.
The Nerazzurri seem to be preparing for life after Samir Handanovic, who is determined to leave the club in search of Champions League football.
Rather than standing in his way, Inter Milan are in the market for a high-quality replacement and they have set their sights on Benfica’s Ederson Moraes.
The 23-year-old has only made 18 league appearances for the Eagles since joining as a youngster from Sao Paulo, but his performances so far have been nothing short of impressive.
That is why the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona are expected to challenge Inter Milan for the player’s signature.
Ederson has also featured in eight Champions League fixtures, and, as things stand now, the Eagles should be bracing for offers ahead of the January transfer window.
