Fallen giants of Italian football Inter Milan are hot on the trail of Lucas Biglia and Milan Badelj, Sport Mediaset has suggested.
New coach Stefano Pioli is eager to add more quality footballers to the engine room and he looks set to make a move on former player Lucas Biglia.
The Argentine has a deal until June 2018 at Stadio Olimpico, and his representatives have so far failed to reach an agreement with the club over a new contract for their client.
At the same time, the Nerazzurri are looking at Milan Badelj, another Serie A midfielder whose deal is due to expire in a year and a half, with the Croatian reportedly looking to leave Fiorentina for greener pastures.
Both central midfielders have enjoyed several very successful seasons in Italy’s top flight, but Inter Milan could face stiff competition for their respective signatures if they decide to make their move in the January window.
