Real Madrid player, Mahamadou Diarrà, is said to be Inter Milan’s number one target in order to strengthen their midfield for next season, Marca reports.
Inter were checking up on the Malian midfielder last season as well, and president of Inter, Moratti, has received the OK from Jose Mourinho to close the deal.
The Italian club are said to be willing to offer €30million for the 27-year-old, who cost Real Madrid €27million when he moved to the Spanish capital from Lyon in 2006.
Marca further reports that Diarrà says he wishes to remain at Real Madrid next season, and is hopeful of regaining his place in the starting eleven after a strong finish to the season for the Spanish champions.
