Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho is tracking Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric, according to agent Sabatino Durante.

The 23-year-old struggled to adapt to life in England but has in recent weeks impressed for Spurs.

Modric is worth around €25million, according to Durante, and the agent believes the Nerazzurri could make a move for the Croatia star this summer.

Durante told FCInterNews, when asked if Mourinho was a fan of the player: “Of course.

“He was tracking the player even while he was at Chelsea.

“Inter are looking for a player who can give them more quality in the midfield and help improve their movement.

“Modric can play behind the strikers – in [Dejan] Stankovic’s position, for example – but he could also play in central midfield.”
