Inter ponder permanent deal for Osvaldo

Inter Milan plan to turn Pablo Daniel Osvaldo’s loan deal into permanent move, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri signed the Italy international this summer on a season-long loan from Southampton with an option to make the transfer permanent.

Il Corriere dello Sport has now learned that the player’s buy-out clause stands at mere €7 million, with the Nerazzurri widely expected to trigger the clause during the season.

Inter boss Walter Mazzarri is a big fan of the player, just like new Italy boss Antonio Conte, who had called the player for the matches against Netherlands and Norway.

However, Osvaldo eventually had to pull out due to injury, but he clearly remains in the first team plans of the former Juventus coach.

Inter Milan resume their Serie A campaign at home against Sassuolo, and the Nerazzurri have been made 4/9 favourites to claim maximum points on Sunday afternoon.
