Inter set for summer clearout

Inter Milan plan to offload a host of first team players in the summer transfer window, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

With their title bid in Serie A having been effectively ended, the Nerazzurri are already thinking about the 2016/2017 season.

The first player to leave Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in the summer is Stevan Jovetic, whose €14.5 million purchase clause will be automatically triggered if he makes a single appearance in the next campaign.

Felipe Melo, Juan Jesus, Danilo D’Ambrosio and Davide Santon will all be allowed to leave in case of good offers, whereas Gary Medel is expected to return to Boca Juniors.

Alex Telles and Jonathan Biabiany are also expected to leave, whereas Inter may be forced to sell star midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, who is on the radar of Arsenal, among other clubs.

When it comes to those certain to stay, Samir Handanovic, Yuto Nagatomo, Eder, Rodrigo Palacio, Jeison Murillo, Joao Miranda and Geoffrey Kondogbia should be safe.
