Inter Milan are on the verge of reaching an agreement with Manchester City for the purchase of Montenegrin forward Stevan Jovetic, Il Corriere dello Sport has learned.
The Nerazzurri are believed to have agreed a deal to recruit Ivan Perisic from Wolfsburg and they will soon announce another new signing.
Namely, the lengthy negotiations with Manchester City are finally producing results, meaning that a deal taking Stevan Jovetic to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza should be completed some time next week.
The transfer fee will be just short of €20 million, with several performance related bonuses set to be included.
Stevan Jovetic will be delighted to return to Italian Serie A following a disappointing spell with Manchester City, having previously spent five years with Fiorentina.
During that time, the 25-year-old made a total of 116 Serie A appearances and scored 35 goals, quickly developing into a key player for the Artemio Franchi outfit.
