Inter step up chase for Nainggolan

Italian daily La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Inter Milan are readying a fresh assault on Cagliari midfielder Radja Nainggolan.

The Nerazzurri have long been hot on the trail of the Belgian international, but they never even came close to meeting the player’s asking price.

However, with new owner Erick Thohir set to make considerable transfer funds available for the winter transfer window, Inter could finally get their man.

The fact that Nainggolan has Indonesian origin has persuaded the new chief to support the club officials in an attempt to lure the 25-year-old to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are prepared to offer €10 million cash plus two of their talented youngsters on loan or co-ownership deals, and such an arrangement could be appealing to Isolani.

Radja Nainggolan is widely regarded as one of Serie A’s best midfielders and has also been linked with Juventus and Roma in the past.
