Inter to make Nagatomo’s transfer permanent

Inter will make Yuto Nagatomo’s loan deal from Cesena permanent in the summer, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Japan international has been in impressive form since arriving on loan in January and Inter chiefs are ready to buy out his contract.

The 24-year-old is expected to cost the Neroazzurri around €4 million, but that is a small price to pay considering that he will help improve the club’s profile in the Far East.

Nagatomo is expected to be in the team when Inter face Cesena at the weekend.

“It will be more than a special game for me,” Nagatomo was quoted as saying.

“I want to show all my improvements and I don’t want to lose.”
