Armenia came from behind to a secure a 1-1 draw with Luxembourg in Montauban on Tuesday.

Mario Mutsch handed Luxembourg the lead in the 15th minute at the Stade Georges Pompidou in Valence, France.

But Armenia forward Edgar Manucharyan levelled proceedings just before the interval for Vardan Minasyan’s side.

Both teams went in search of a winner in the second half but failed to find the net in a closely fought contest.

Luxembourg slumped to their eighth winless match, while Armenia extended their unbeaten run to two games.

Luxembourg entertain Azerbaijan next in a World Cup qualifier, while Armenia face an uphill battle against the Czech Republic.
