Turkish Super Lig club Istanbul Basaksehir appear to be on the verge of signing attacking midfielder Arda Turan from Barcelona.

The Turkish league leaders posted a photo of club chairman Goksel Gumusdag having dinner with Turan, which is enough to suggest the talks are underway.

Clubs from Turkey rarely reveal their targets before the deal is set to be completed, and chances are the 30-year-old will soon be moving back to Turkey.

Despite having a contract until June 2020 at Camp Nou, it has been clear for quite a while that Arda Turan will be leaving in January, and he was heavily linked with a return to Galatasaray.

However, while his former club hesitated, the surprise Super Lig leaders made their move and are now set to get their man.
