Italian giants battling for Ralf

Corinthians midfielder Ralf de Souza Teles is in high demand among top Italian clubs, La Gazzetta dello Sport has revealed.

Talented midfielder Paulinho is arguably one of the most sought-after players from Brazil, but his teammate Ralf has started to attract attention of top European clubs as well.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Roma, Fiorentina and Inter have all shown interest in the 28-year-old midfielder, who is valued at €7 million.

The Italian newspaper understands that Sevilla are the latest club to have joined the race for the highly rated player.

It is believed the interested clubs are waiting to see how the player will fare at the upcoming Club World Cup in Japan before stepping up their efforts to acquire his services.

Ralf, who has 5 Brazil caps to his name, is playing his third season at Corinthians, and has made a total of 134 league appearances for the club, scoring 4 goals.
