Competition: International friendly
Market: Italy & Portugal to draw
Odds: 1/1 @ Coral

Italy and Portugal lock horns in tonight’s international friendly, with both sides likely to play out a stalemate given the lack of a competitive nature. The Azzurri have been draw specialists in their most recent internationals, while Portugal’s performances have been far from convincing. As a result, there’s every chance this evening’s meeting will see the duo drawing.

Portugal recently came from behind to win against Armenia, and lost their preceding friendly against Cape Verde, so they haven’t been in the best shape of late. Due to their squad likely to be fatigued from a gruelling season, the European outfit are expected to name a second-string XI to face Italy, which could see them fall short of earning a victory.

Italy are notoriously difficult to beat, and given they have drawn their last three internationals, Coral are giving odds of 1/1 for the two sides to play out a stalemate tonight. Neither side has anything other than pride on the line, and will likely settle for a share of the spoils come the final whistle.
