Clarence Seedorf talked about the Rossoneri’s absence from Europe’s biggest club competition and the rumours surrounding the future of coach Carlo Ancelotti.
“It’s difficult to stay at the top level every year, and this season Milan did not deserve to be there,” he commented. “I think it’s right to have the right hunger to compete again. It’s also good for great champions to go through a season like this.”
On the rumours linking Ancelotti to Chelsea, Seedorf joked, “Yes, it’s absolutely true! They have been saying this for the last four years, but he always stayed in the end”.
